Pulpit Archive
Who sees your sermons
Your sermons are yours. Here is everyone who can see them, and what they see.
Who sees what
| Who | What they see |
|---|---|
| You | Your sermons, wherever you preached them, with every number, your Trusted Circle (the few people you ask about your sermons each week), Ask and Coaching. |
| Your church's admins | The sermons preached at that church, with transcripts and stats. Never your Trusted Circle's answers, your Ask conversations or your coaching. |
| Other preachers at your church | Their own sermons. Not yours. |
| Someone you share with | The stats on what you share, read only. You can stop sharing at any time, and it ends at once. |
| A coach you invite | What you share, and a conversation with you about it. You can end it at any time. |
| Your congregation | Nothing. There is no public page of your stats. |
| An AI assistant you connect, such as Claude | Your archive, read as you. It can't change anything, and it can't read what others share with you. What it says about your sermons is up to that assistant, not Pulpit Archive. |
| Andrew, during the beta | He can sign in as you to see what you see and fix problems. Any change he makes shows in your activity log under his name. As the person who runs the product, he can also reach the database directly. |
| Concordia Supply's tech team | They can reach the database to keep the product running, under Concordia's strict company policies. |
How it's protected
- The rules live in the database itself.Every table checks who is asking before it returns a row, so a mistake on a page can't show one church's sermons to another.
- Every change to who sees what is tested before it ships.Automated tests sign in as one church and try to read another's sermons, and prove each rule in the database: hundreds of checks, every one of which must pass.
- Your audio is private.Recordings are stored privately, and each link to play one expires within the hour.
- Every change is logged.Who changed what, and when. You can read your part of the log.
Your data
- Never sold.We don't sell your sermons or anything about you.
- Never used to train AI.Pulpit Archive uses paid business accounts with Anthropic, the maker of Claude, which reads your sermons and answers your questions in Ask, and OpenAI, which turns your audio into text. Under the business terms we use with both, neither trains its AI on what we send.
- No marketing unless you ask.Concordia Supply won't add you to its mailing lists unless you ask to be added.
- Anonymous totals, to improve the product. We look at totals across all archives, such as how long sermons run and which features get used. Nothing in them points back to you or your church. During the beta we also test improvements to the analysis against real sermons.
Leaving
Leave whenever you like. Write to us and we’ll delete your personal archive, your Trusted Circle and your shares. Sermons you preached at a church on Pulpit Archive stay with that church.
